5 Exciting New Courses

Based on English Films in Pisa and Livorno!

In line with our motto of ‘Learn English through your passions!’, we are happy to announce 5 new English courses based on your passion for cinema!

The next English Film Forums will begin May 17, 2017
and will be dedicated to
‘The Great Dictator’
by Charlie Chaplin

Each monthly package will feature 4 weekly 90-minute lessons during which we will focus on one English film.

In addition to watching the film together, the lessons will focus on all aspects of the film; we will have extensive discussions about the film, read reviews, watch discussions and interviews with the filmmakers, explain unique vocabulary and expressions used in the film, and, finally, write short reviews of our own.

This will allow students to improve all of their English skills – speaking, reading, listening and writing – all in within the magical context of cinema.

The package also includes 1 private screening of the film being studied that month!

  • Each course lasts 4 weeks during which we will focus on one English film: Charlie Chaplin’s THE GREAT DIDCTATOR!

  • The courses are designed for students from Intermediate to Advanced levels.

  • Each course has a maximum of 12 students so that we can properly focus on each student’s needs and allow all participants the opportunity for  plenty of speaking practice.

  • The first trial lesson is always free, but reservations are absolutely necessary! The lesson must only be paid for if you decide to enroll in the course.

  • After 30 hours of attendance, students will be offered an official ‘New York English Academy Certificate of Attendance.’
