Saremo accompagnati da 3 insegnanti madre-lingua provenienti da Us e UK e avremo un intero weekend in Inglese di cultura e divertimento.

We’re going to The Globe in London
June 24-26!
The performance is completely sold out and we only have a limited number of tickets, so please make your reservation(s) as soon as possible! RESERVATION DEADLINE: JUNE 10, 2016!
PACKAGE 1) We are offering a full-immersion weekend package for 250 euro (including IVA) beginning on the evening of June 24th until the evening of June 26th. We will have 3 mother-tongue instructors with us who will practice English and lead us all through London. These instructors will be prof. Shemtov (USA), as well as Adrian Hughes and David Thomas (UK), two professional Shakespearean actors of The English Theatre Company, who have lived in London for many years and know all the best spots.
On Saturday, June 25th, we will have a workshop on ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ to help prepare for the performance on Sunday. The rest of the day will be spent visiting galleries, restaurants, parks, etc.
On Sunday, June 26th, we will all visit The Globe for a private tour of the theatre, as well as a visit to the exhibition of the theatre’s history. We will then have lunch together, followed by The Globe’s performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ from 13:00-16:00. The rest of the afternoon will be spent enjoying London together.
This package includes: 2 1/2 days of full-immersion English practice, the private tour of The Globe Theatre, the exhibition at The Globe Theatre, and a seat at The Globe’s performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and help with the hotel or hostel reservation.
This package does not include: transportation, meals, hotel fees, and additional expenses in London (Underground, gallery entrances, etc.)
PACKAGE 2 – Students) We are also offering a special package for students 12 and under for 200 euro (including IVA) which includes a standing ticket for the ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ performance as well as everything else that is included in Package 1.
PLEASE NOTE: All students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who will assume all responsibility, as New York English Academy and Teatro del Giglio cannot assume responsibility for them.
PACKAGE 3) The same as package 1, but with much better seats for The Globe’s performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ There are only 3 of these available and the price for the entire package is 300 euro (including IVA).
NEW PROMOTION: All those who join us for our trip to London will be able to attend The English Theatre Company’s production of MACBETH at Teatro del Giglio for the student price of only 12 euro! More info about the play HERE.
Transportation:
Each participant must arrange transportation on their own. You can either arrive on Friday, the 24th, or Saturday, the 25th. You can arrive by plane, car, bus, etc.
For those who would like to travel to London with us by plane, our flight is with Ryanair, Flight No. FR 587, leaving Pisa at 12:55 and arriving at 14:20.
We will be unable to accompany you back on Sunday evening, as we are staying in London until Monday night, but if you would like, we can put you in touch with other participants so that you can all make arrangements together.
If any of you want to stay in London until Monday night and fly back with us, our Flight No. is 588, leaving London at 20:05 and arriving in Pisa at 23:20. PLEASE NOTE: We will not be available on Monday as we all have family obligations that day, but we can meet in the center of London and fly back to Pisa together.
Accommodation:
Each participant is fully welcome to make hotel arrangements on their own, or stay with friends or family. But we did do a lot of research to help find options that are clean, safe, close to the theatre and sites of interest. The more we stay together, the more we can enjoy each other’s company for breakfast, evenings, etc.
Option 1) Ibis Budget London Whitechapel: A 2-star hotel about 20 minutes away from The Globe by public transportation.
We reserved many rooms and the price is 45.00 GBP per night / per person in rooms with 2 people, either two twin beds or one large double bed. Single rooms cost 90.00 GBP per night. Breakfast is 5.85 GBP per person / per day. If enough people reserve right away, and pay in advance, we can get a slightly better rate!
Option 2) Hotel Ibis London City: A 3-star hotel about 16 minutes away from the theater by public transportation.
We reserved many rooms and the price is 57.00 GBP per night / per person in rooms with 2 people, either two twin beds or one large double bed. Single rooms cost 114.00 GBP per night. Breakfast is 10.85 GBP per person / per day. If 15 people reserve before April 25, and pay in advance, we can get a much better rate – 50.00 GBP per person / per night, including breakfast!
Option 3) YHA St. Pancras: A youth hostel about 20 minutes away from The Globe.
Beds cost approximately 25.00 GBP per night / per person. Breakfast is 5.20 GBP per person / per day. PLEASE NOTE: The instructors will not be staying at the hostel, but this can still be a good budget option, especially for students.
