I laboratori, destinati ai bambini dai 5 ai 12 anni.
The workshops will be led by Adrian Hughes and David Thomas of the The English Theatre Company. Native speakers from the UK, Adrian and David have performed professionally for nearly 20 years and have lead theater workshops for adults as well as children in the UK and, since 2010, also in Italy. They will be performing at the Valentine’s Day Aperitivo at Teatro del Giglio, will be starting a workshop for adults on February 17th, and will be part of many more Lucca Loves Shakespeare events throughout 2016.”
Il Laboratorio si terrà interamente in inglese – ed è anche perfettamente adatto per madrelingua – e si concluderà con una performance di fine anno. I piccoli partecipanti saranno in grado di imparare e migliorare il loro inglese immergendosi completamente nel magico e meraviglioso mondo del teatro.
Non solo i bambini faranno pratica di esibizioni tecniche, canti e danze ma saranno coinvolti anche nella progettazione dei costumi, trucco e scenografia, in modo da soddisfare tutti i loro interessi.
Laboratorio a Lucca:
A Lucca si terranno al Teatro del Giglio tutti i lunedì dalle 17 alle 18.

I laboratori sono aperti ad un gruppo di 10/20 ragazzi. al costo di 10 euro/ora per oltre 16 lezioni. Nel prezzo sono compresi i costi dei materiali, forniture, costumi, IVA, etc.
E’ possibile fare sempre una prima prova gratuitamente e senza impegno. Essa verrà pagata solo se il/la bambino/a deciderà di iscriversi.
Il Teatro del Giglio sarà nostro partner per il progetto Lucca Loves Shakespeare! che comprenderà laboratori, lezioni, aperitivi, proiezioni di film e molte altre attività per tutte le età.
Laboratorio a Pisa:
A Pisa si svolgeranno alla Stazione Leopolda tutti i giovedì dalle 17.30 alle 18.30.

NEW: 2 English Theater Workshops for Children Based on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (for English speakers of all levels)!!!
The workshops are geared towards children ages 5-12 and will be led by Adrian Hughes and David Thomas of the The English Theatre Company. Native speakers from the UK, Adrian and David have performed professionally for nearly 20 years and have lead theater workshops for adults as well as children in the UK and, since 2010, also in Italy. The workshops will be taught entirely in English – and are perfectly suited for native speakers as well! – and will culminate with a year-end performance of the play. Children will be able to learn and improve their English while being fully-immersed in the magic of this wonderful classic.
Not only will the children practice scenes, performance techniques, song and dance, but they will also be involved in designing the costumes, sets and make-up so as to cater to children with all types of strengths and interests.
Lucca Workshop:
The workshop in Lucca will be held at Teatro del Giglio every Monday from 17:00 until 18:00.
From February 1 until June 6, 2016!
The workshops are open to 10-20 children and costs 10 euros/hr. for all 16 sessions. This fee includes all materials, supplies, costumes, IVA, etc.
It’s always possible to have an obligation-free trial lesson which will only be paid if the child chooses to join the workshop.
Teatro del Giglio will be our partner for the year-long project, Lucca Loves Shakespeare!, which will include workshops, English lessons, ‘aperitivos’, film screenings, and many other activities for all ages!
